How many hours did it take me to paint all of these flowers? A million, probably. Worth it, though. The flowers were very literal but the synesthesia was pickiest about the colors, placements, and shapes which is why I ended up with three versions rather than the usual two. My brain wanted both voices represented, along with the duet and worked the puzzle of “container” out in a few different wats while being consistent with “flowers” and colors.
Various Golden and Amsterdam Acrylics paints, Liquitex paint and ink, jewelry upcycled from my mother-in-law’s collection, freshwater pearl beads. Upcycled, hexagonal tile magnet w/2” sides. Also available on 8”x16” wooden panel or recycled plastic bottles/2” diameter, 4” tall.
