Teenage Dirtbag (Wheatus, 2000)
”Oh, how she rocks/in Keds and tube socks/but she doesn’t know who I am…”
No, I do not have an explanation for the fruit. Feel free to ask the synesthesia.
Amsterdam Acrylics paint, Golden Paints heavy body acrylic paint, various beads, jewelry charms, jewelry findings, upcycled jewelry upcycled jewelry from my mother-in-law’s collection. On an upcycled hexagonal tile with 2” sides. Magnet is rated up to 8.8 ounces.
Yes, I’m making magnets! Everyone should have the opportunity to own some art if that’s something they want, so I’ve started making smaller versions of my larger works for those who don’t have the space, or fundage, for larger pieces. Don’t worry, they’re still originals; the space constraints means I have to be even more creative to fit all the elements and handmade art isn’t cut and paste. Each piece does something that surprises me, even when it’s born from the same brainwaves as its sister collages!
