This song has been on my list since the b grinning but I’m glad I waited. Definitely needed to develop my technique and patience to do it justice. I’m not sure I would have picked up on the pink or the contrasting angular shapes if I had tried it a year, or even six months, ago.
Amsterdam Acrylics paint and ink, Windsor Newton silver ink. Jingle bells (yes, they do ring), glass beads, turquoise beads (in honor of Shaboozey’s 2025 Met Gala look), and jewelry upcycled from my mother-in-law’s collection. On a reused 5”x7”x1” journal shipping box. Sides are painted and collaged so this piece can be hung without a frame.
