Etudes: Opus 25, No. 9 in G-Flat Minor (Frédéric Chopin, 1832-1835)

$10.00

My head has been a mess lately and one of the only things that seems to calm the neurotransmitters down is Chopin. I generally prefer Lang Lang’s performances but I’ve found others I can vibe with when needs arise. 25/9 kind of makes me want to frolic, which apparently translates to a wild explosion of color in synesthesia land.

Because I’m a firm believer in art of everyone, but know not everyone has the space, or funding, for larger pieces, I’m going to be making smaller, magnet versions of as many of my collages as I can - still originals, I promise, if anything, less area means even more creativity! - that will be available at significantly lower price points and fit easily on a fridge (unless you have one of those boring new ones) or anything else with an affinity for polarity. The magnets I’m using are rated to a max up 8.8 ounces.

Amsterdam Acrylics paint and ink, Golden Paints high flow acrylics, bears rhinestones, upcycled jewelry (yes, I glued everything on by hand, that’s how we do it here). On an upcycled, hexagonal tile with 2” sides.
